SOMOS AMERICANOS

We Are  Americans and that is all that matters.

We come in all colors, cultures, nationalities, religions, and we are proud of it. We are Hispanic, Asian, Black, White, Filipino, American Indian and every other color, race, and ethnicity group under the rainbow. Our religions include Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, and others. We are immigrants from Europe, Canada, Asia, Latin America, Mexico, Africa, and Pacific Islands. We are truck drivers, engineers, scientists, farmers, military, construction workers, medical personnel, fishermen, teachers, law enforcement personnel, firefighters, and every other productive worker you can imagine. Yes, America is the melting pot of the world. We have different views on issues. But first and foremost, WE ARE ALL Americans.

We, Americans, are confronted with a disorder of great proportions. Many, if not most, know we Americans have a gigantic predicament, but do not understand it. Perhaps the first thing to consider, is everything going on – the riots, political discourse, the media, and the news are dividing Americans. Americans’ vs Americans is a large problem. We should all stop and think – We Are All Americans First. Once we acknowledge that, then we can begin to delve into the cause of our differences and develop solutions. Once we remove all ethnic, racial, religious divisions and cross political party lines to address the real issues, not hollow fear mongering hysterics that is thrown at us, loudly, every day, Americans will move to a better place.

There is no government solution, it is an inordinate part of the problem. Government, as determined by our elected representatives, should set the rules that provide all Americans an equal opportunity to be a productive American. If you accept these basics, then you may agree how important it is that we Americans elect the right fellow Americans to represent us. It is us, the voters, that matter the most. We, the voters, need to step up and do our work today to preserve tomorrow.
